CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION 00. 8357
CANCELLING CITY TAXES 00 PROPERTY ACQUIRED BY THE ALAMEDA
UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT FOR PUBLIC PURPOSES
WHEREAS, certain real property situate in the City of Alameda, County of Alameda, State
of California, and more particularly described under the following Block and Plate numbers:

has been assessed heretofore for City purposes and taxes levied thereon, plus penalties and costs,
are uncollected and unpaid; and
WHEREAS, after the time said taxes became a lien on said real property, said property
was, by Final Judgment in Condemnation, acquired, and ever since has been and now is, owned by the
Alameda Unified School District of Alameda County, to be used for public purposes, and because of
such public ownership is not subject to sale for delinquent taxes; said Final Order of Condemnation
referred to above was entitled, ALAMEDA UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT OF ALAMEDA COUNTY, STATE CF CALIFORNIA,
a public corporation, plaintiff, vs. BAY VIEW DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION, a corporation, et al., defendants,
Alameda County Superior Court No. 435600, and was recorded on August 29, 1974 in the office of the
County Recorder of Alameda County, Recorder's No. 74-114010,
NOW THEREFORE, BF IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA, with the written
consent of the City Attorney attached hereto, that all uncollected taxes charged or levied for city
purposes upon the aforesaid real property, together with penalties and costs thereon, be, and the
same are hereby, cancelled, and the Auditor and Tax Collector of the City of Alameda ere hereby
authorized and directed to cancel the same on their respective books.

I, Carter J. Stroud, City Attorney of the City of Alameda, State of California, do hereby
consent to the cancellation of any and all uncollected taxes and assessments, and penalties and costs
thereon, charged or levied for City purposes upon the parcels of real property described in the
within resolution.
