CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 8371
AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR CONSTRUCTION AND COMPLETION
OF IMPROVEMENTS IN CONNECTION WITH PARCEL MAP NO. 1648 AND
APPROVING FAITHFUL PERFORMANCE BOND AS TO SUFFICIENCY (ANNABELLE L.
ARADA, SUBDIVIDER)
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 11-319.1 of the Alameda Municipal Code, there has been
presented to this Council a Parcel Map, designated Parcel Map No. 1648, and heretofore conditionally
approved by the Planning Board, being a division of property at the southeast corner of Calhous
and Peach Streets, in the City of Alameda, by Annabelle L. Arada; and
WHEREAS, said approval by the Planning Board is conditioned upon the execution by
subdivider of an agreement to construct and complete certain public improvements on said property;
and
WHEREAS, said subdivider has entered into such an agreement and has posted a bond guar-
anteeing full and faithful performance of said work, all in accordance with said section; and
WHEREAS, it will be to the benefit of the City to have said work performed in accordance
therewith;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the agreement
for construction and completion of the improvements in the division of property at the southeast
corner of Calhoun and Peach Streets by Annabelle L. Arada, be, and the same hereby is, approved,
and the City Manager is authorized and directed to execute, and the City Clerk to attest, said
agreement on behalf of the City; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the bond in the sum of 95,600, guaranteeing full and faithful
performance of said agreement, is hereby approved as sufficient in amount.
