Resolution 08424CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO, 8424 INCREASING MEMBERSHIP ON THE ALAMEDA HOUSING AUTHORITY COMMISSION WHEREAS, the City of Alameda has duly created by Resolution No, 2507, adopted on August 6, 1940, a Housing Authority pursuant to the laws of the State of California; and WHEREAS, the laws respecting said Housing Authority have been amended and signed into law on September 10, 1975, effective January 1, 1976; and WHEREAS, one section, Sec, 34270, of the Health and Safety Code has been amended to require the addition of two commissioners to the Authority, both of whom shall be tenants Of the Authority and at least one shall be over 62 years of age; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the membership on the Housing Authority of the City of Alameda shall be increased from the present constitution of five duly appointed members to seven duly appointed members in conformance with the laws of the State of California, * * * * * * * * * I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 7th day of October, 1975, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: Councilmen Beckam, Diament, Hurwitz, Sherratt and President Corica, (5).
