Resolution 08450CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO, 8450 RESOLUTION IN SUPPORT OF REENACTING FEDERAL REVENUE SHARING PROGRAM WHEREAS, General Revenue Sharing Funds, made available through the Federal Government, has made it possible for municipalities to provide new and continue existing beneficial projects, programs and services to the general public; and WHEREAS, only with the continuance of General Revenue Sharing to nities can such programs and services be sustained; and WHEREAS, without General Revenue Sharing, many such programs and services would have to be curtailed or abandoned to the detriment to these municipalities and their residents. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the city council of the City of Alameda endorses the continuance of the General Sharing Program. * * * * * * * * * * I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 2nd day of December, 1975, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: Councilmen Beckam, Diament, Hurwitz, Sherratt and President Corica, (5).
