RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA TN APPRECIATION
AND COMMENDATION OF RENE JOHN BRAMANTE FOR HIS SERVICE TO THE CITY
WHEREAS, it has come to the attention of the Council of the City ef Alameda that
December 1, 1975, marked the date of the retirement of RENE JOHN BRAMANTE as a Sergeant of the
Alameda Police Department; and
WHEREAS, Sergeant Bramante was first employed as a Patrolman in the Alameda Police
Department on November 6, 1946, Was promoted to Sergeant on January 6, 1963, all of said service
reflecting the highest standards of dedication to and skill in the field cf law enforcement; and
WHEREAS, Sergeant Bramante has over 2 period of more than twenty-nine years earned an
exemplary reputation for integrity and skill among the members of his profession, and has equally
earned the respect and affection of the people of the community; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE Il' RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Alameda hereby commends
this outstanding public servant for his loyalty and devotion to the interests of the citizens of
the City and his contribution to good government.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that there is extended to Sergeant Bramante and his family every
good wish for a long, healthful, happy and productive life in the retirement he has so faithfully
worked to achieve.
