CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 8463
AUTHORIZING CITY AUDITOR TO DISTRIBUTE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
BLOCK PROGRAM FUNDS WITH APPROVAL OF CITY MANAGER.
WHEREAS, the City of Alameda is participating in HUD Community Development Block
Grant Program which requires immediate distribution of funds received thereunder; and
WHEREAS, it is impossible to meet this requirement by waiting for the next Council
meeting to authorize the distribution of said federal funds,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL CF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the City
Auditor is hereby authorized to issue warrants and the City Treasurer to pay thereon, upon
approval of the City Manager, for the distribution of Community Development Block Program Funds
as soon as same are received from the federal authorities.

introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the
6th day of January, 1976, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Beckam, Diament, Hurwitz, Sherratt and President Corica, (5).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Nene,
