Resolution 0846744 CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 8467 ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS, SPECIAL PROVISIONS AND PLANS FOR THE RESURFACING OF THE TENNIS COURTS AT FRANKLIN PARK, CALLING FOR BIDS AND DIRECTING CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE SAME WHEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared Specifications, Special Provisions and Plans for the resurfacing of the tennis courts at Franklin Park, San Antonio Avenue and Peru Street, No, PW 1-76-1, and filed in the office of the City Clerk on January 20, 1976; NOW THEREFORE, EE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the said Specifications, Special Provisions and Plans, be, and the same are hereby approved and adopted. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the performance and completion of the work specified in said Specifications and Provisions be and the same is hereby authorized. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive sealed bids up to the hour of 11:00 o'clock a.m. on FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 13, 1976, for furnishing to the City of all labor, materials, machinery, tools and equipment necessary for the work hereinabove referred to, in accordance with said Specifications and Provisions. Bids must be presented to the City Clerk, in the City Hall, Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on the outside, "Proposal for Resurfacing of the Tennis Courts at Franklin Park, or similar designation. Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the Charter of the City of Alameda, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best bid. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids. Said Specifications and Provisions may be had by any prospective bidder on application to the City Enaineer, at his office in the City Hall, Alameda, California, The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-Star, a notice calling for sealed bids, in accordance with the provision of this resolution and of said Specifi- cations and Provisions. * * * * * * * * * * I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 20th day of January, 1976, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: Councilmen Beckam, Diament, Hurwitz, Sherrett and President Corica, (5).
