AUTHORIZING SUBSTITUTION OF SUBCONTRACTOR (NORTHSIDE PARK)
(PW 2-75,-12j
WHEREAS, the bid of Economy Garden Supply, Inc. (hereinafter "Contractor") was
accepted for the construction of Northside Park (PW 8-75-12); and
WHEREAS, the subcontractor, Vanier Excavatinc, is unwilling to enter into a contract
with Contractor for paving said project; and
WHEREAS, Ferma Corp. (hereinafter "subcontractor") is willing to perform the
necessary paving work;
NOW, THEREFOR[, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that Contractor is
authorized to enter into a contract with subcontractor providing that no changes in the terms and
conditions of its contract with the City are altered.

introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the
20th day of January, 1976, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Beckam, Diament, Hurwitz, Sherratt and President Corica, (5).
NOES: None.
