CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 6486
AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR CONSTRUCTION AND COMPLETION
OF IMPROVEMENTS IN CONNECTION WITH PARCEL MAP 1821 AND APPROVING
FAITHFUL PERFORMANCE BOND AS TO SUFFICIENCY (DIVISION OF PROPERTY
ALONG THE TIDAL CANAL NORTHERLY OF CLEMENT AVENUE AT APPROXIMATELY
WALNUT STREET - JOHN BENTZEN)
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 11-319.1 of the Alameda Municipal Code, there has been
presented to this Council a Parcel Map, designated Parcel Map No. 1821, and heretofore conditionally
approved by the Planning Board, being a division of property along the tidal canal northerly of
Clement Avenue at approximately Walnut Street (redivision cf parcels 1 and 2 of Parcel Map No. 1569),
in the City of Alameda, by John Bentzen; and
WHEREAS, said approval by the Planning Board is conditioned upon the execution by
subdivider of an agreement to construct and complete certain public improvements on said property;
and
WHEREAS, said subdivider has entered to such an agreement and has posted his bond guaranteeing
full and faithful performance of said work, all in accordance with said section; and
WHEREAS, it will be to the benefit of the City to have said work performed in accordance
therewith;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA, that the agreement
for construction and completion of the improvements in the redivision of parcels 1 and 2 of Parcel
Map No. 1569, by John Bentzen, be, and the same hereby is, approved, and the City Manacer is
authorized and directed to execute, and the City Clerk to attest, said agreement on behalf of
the City; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the bond in the sum of $2,100.00, guaranteeing full and
faithful performance of said agreement, is hereby approved as sufficient in amount.

introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the
17th day cf February, 1976, by the following vote, to wit:
