CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO, 8491
ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS FOR FURNISHING TO THE CITY OF ALAMEDA ONE
(1) ONE TON DUMP TRUCK, TWO (2) THREE QUARTER TON TRUCKS WITH
SURVEYOR BODIES AND ONE (1) THREE QUARTER TON TRUCK WITH UTILITY
BODY, CALLING FOR BIDS AND DIRECTING CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE SAME
RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the Specifications and Provisions
for furnishing to the City of Alameda
Item A. One (1) New 1976 Model One Ton Dump Truck for the Park Department;
Item B. Two (2) New 1976 Model Three Quarter Ton Trucks with Surveyor Body
for the Engineering Department; and
Item C. One (1) New 1976 Model Three Quarter Ton Truck with Utility Body
for the Street Department,
No. MSP 2-76-2, filed in the office of the City Clerk on February 17, 1976, be, and the same
are hereby approved and adopted,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive sealed
bids up to the hour of 11:00 a.m. on FRIDAY, MARCH 5, 1976, for furnishing to the City of said
trucks, in accordance with said Specifications and Provisions. Bids must be presented to the City
Clerk, in the City Hall, Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on the outside,
"Proposal for One (1) One Ton Gump Truck, Two (2) Three Quarter Ton Trucks with Surveyor Bodies
and One (1) Three Quarter Ton Truck with Utility Body," or similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the Charter of said
City, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best bid. The right is reserved to
reject any or all bids.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-Star, a notice
calling for sealed bids, in accordance with the provisions of this resolution and of said
Specifications and Provisions.

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of alameda in regular meeting assembled on the
17th day of February, 1976, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Beckam, Clement, Hurwitz, Sherratt and President Corica, (5).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
