ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS FOR FURNISHING TO THE CITY OF ALAMEDA TWO
(2) LIGHT WEIGHT VAN VEHICLES FOR THE FIRE DEPARTMENT, CALLING FOR
BIDS AND DIRECTING CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE SAME
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the Specifications and Provisions
for furnishing to the City of Alameda Two (2) New 1976 Model Light Weight Van Vehicles for the
Fire Department, No. MSP 2-76-1, filed in the office of the City Clerk on February 17, 1976, be,
and the same are hereby approved and adopted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive sealed bids
up to the hour of 11:00 o'clock a.m. on FRIDAY, MARCH 5, 1976, for furnishing to the City of said
vehicles, in accordance with said Specifications and Provisions. Bids must be presented to the City
Clerk, in the City Hall, Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on the
outside, "Proposal for Two (2) Light Weight Van Vehicles", cr similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the Charter of said
City, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best bid. The right is reserved to
reject any or all bids.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-Star, a notice
calling for sealed bids, in accordance with the provisions of this resolution and of said Specifi-
cations and Provisions.

introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the
17th day of February, 1976, by the following vote, to wit:
