CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO, 8505
AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF COMPROMISE CONTRACT SETTLING TITLE
DISPUTE BETWEEN THE CITY OF ALAMEDA AND THE ALAMEDA UNIFIED
SCHOOL DISTRICT
WHEREAS, a proposed Compromise Contract with the Alameda Unified School District of
Alameda County, State of California, relating to a settlement of the dispute as to conflicting
claims of ownership of various parcels of land in the City of Alameda, to be resolved by the City's
conveyance and release to the District of six (6) school sites described in Exhibit A of said
Contract and by the District's conveyance to the City of the real property described in Exhibit R
of said Contract, has been submitted to this Council, and the Council is fully informed and aware
of the terms and conditions thereof; and
WHEREAS, it is the best in

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the Mayor of
the City is hereby authorized and directed to execute, for and on behalf of the City of Alameda,
that certain contract referred to above by and between the Alameda Unified School District cf
Alameda, State of California, and the City of Alameda. The City Clerk is hereby directed to
attest to same,
