CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 8510
AUTHORIZING AMENDMENT DF EXISTING CONTRACT WITH MKGK FOR PREPARATION
OF ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT FOR COMMUNITY MASTER PLAN -- HARBOR
BAY ISLE
WHEREAS, pursuant to its Resolution No, 8438, adopted November 18, 1975, the City
entered into an agreement with Marshall Kaplan, Gans and Kahn by which the latter agreed to
prepare an Environmental Impact Report for a proposed project on Bay Farm Island, identified
as "harbor Bay Isle"; and
WHEREAS, said agreement provided for a specific undertaking at a maximum fee of $25,000;
and
WHEREAS, the City has been informed that said undertaking cannot be completed within
the above specified sum; and
WHEREAS, MKGK has submitted documentation as to the services needed and that the cost
of said services totals 821,337; and
WHEREAS, all parties to the November 19, 1975 contract have reviewed said services and
deem them necessary; and
WHEREAS, the City, by and through its Council has been fully advised and is prepared to
authorize an amendment to the existing contract to reflect necessary changes;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the Mayor and
City Clerk be, and each hereby is, authorized and directed to execute and to attest to respectively,
a contract amending the existing contract referred to, on behalf of the City, with Marshall Kaplan
Gans and Kahn (MKGK). Said agreement shall provide for an additional maximum fee to the contractor
of $21,337 and shall contain the specific additional services to be provided.

20th day of April, 1976, by the following vote, to wit:
