ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS FOR FURNISHING TO THE CITY OF ALAMEDA
CLASS "O" PORTLAND CEMENT CONCRETE TRANSIT MIX FOR FISCAL YEAR
1970-1977, CALLING FOR BIDS AND DIRECTING CITY CLERK TO
ADVERTISE SAME
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the Specifications and Provisions
for furnishing Class "D" Portland Cement Concrete Transit Mix to the City of Alameda for the fiscal
year ending June 30, 1977, No. MS 5-76-3, filed in the office of the City Clerk on May 4, 1975, he,
and the same are hereby approved and adopted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive sealed bids up
to the hour of 11:00 u dock a.m. on FRIDAY, MAY 14, 1970` for furnishing to the City of said materials,
in accordance with said Specifications and Provisions. Bids must be presented to the City Clerk, in
the City Hall, Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on the outside, 'Proposal
for Portland Cement Concrete Transit Mix for Fiscal Year 1976'1977"" or similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the Charter of said
City, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best bid. The right is reserved to reject
any or all bids.
The City Clerk, is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-Stur, a notice calling
for sealed bids, in accordance with the provisions of this resolution and of said Specifications
and Provisions.

introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the
4th day of May, 1976, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Deckam, Diament, Hurwitz, Sherratt and President Corica, (5).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
