CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO, 8523
AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF CONTRACT WITH COUNTY OF ALAMEDA.
RELATING TO CITY'S SENIOR CITIZEN TRANSPORTATION ASSISTANCE
PROGRAM
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the Mayor and City Clerk
be, and each hereby is, authorized to execute and to attest to, respectively, on behalf of
the City, an agreement with the County of Alameda which allocates funds to the City for the
purpose of conducting a Senior Citizen Transportation Assistance Program as defined within the
provisions of Title III of the Older Americans Act, 1965, as amended, and sets forth the
services to he provided by City in connection with its conducting said program, said agreement
to be substantially in the form of that heretofore placed in the Office of the City Clerk
and marked, "Filed, May 18, 1976."

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and
regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled
on the 18th day of May, 1976, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Diament, Hurwitz, Sherratt and President Corica, (4).
NOES: 'lone.
ABSENT: Councilman Beckam, (1).
