CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO, 8526
ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS, SPECIAL PROVISIONS AND PLANS FOR
JANITORIAL SERVICE FOR THE CITY HALL, CALLING FOR BIDS AND
DIRECTING CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE SAME
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared Specifications, Special Provisions and Plans
for janitorial service for the City Hall, numbered PW 5-76-5 and filed in the office of the City
Clerk on May 18, 1976;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the aforesaid
Specifications, Special Provisions and Plans: numbered and filed as aforesaid, be, and the same
are hereby approved and adopted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the performance and completion of the work specified in
said Specifications and Provisions be and the same is hereby authorized.
SE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive sealed bids
up to the hour of 11:00 o'clock a.m. on FRIDAY, JUNE 4, 1976, for furnishing to the City of all
labor, materials, tools, machinery and equipment necessary for the work hereinabcve referred to,
in accordance with said Specifications and Provisions. Bids must be presented to the City Clerk,
in the City Hall, Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on the outside,
"Proposal for Janitorial Service for the City Hall," or similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the Charter of the
City of Alameda, to the responsible hidder who submits the lowest and best hid. The right is
reserved to reject any or all bids,
Said Specifications and Provisions may he had by any Prospective bidder on applicatbn
to the City Engineer, at his Office in the City Hall, Alameda, California.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise: in the Alameda Times-Star, a notice calling
for sealed bids, in accordance with the provisions of this resolution and of said Specifications and
Provisions.

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the
Iiith day of May, 1976, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES; Councilmen Diament, Hurwitz, Sherratt and President, Corica, (4).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Councilman Seckam, (1).
