AUTHORIZING APPROVAL AND EXECUTION OF SETTLEMENT AGREEMENT AMONG
CITY OF OAKLAND, CITY OF ALAMEDA, HARBOR BAY ISLE ASSOCIATES, UTAH
INTERNATIONAL, INC., DORIC DEVELOPMENT, INC. AND RECLAMATION
DISTRICT NO. 2105
WHEREAJ, a proposed Settlement Agreement among the City f Oakland, City of Alameda,
Harbor Bay Isle Associates, Utah International Inc., Doric Development, Inc. and Reclamation
District No. 2105, relating to a compromise whereby the parties intend to terminate all
litigation among themselves, settle all existing disputes on a permanent basis and work together
to achieve joint goals of providing for reasonable present and future growth of Airport nperntinns,
minimizing impacts upon existing and future residents of City and providing for the orderly
development of Harbor Bay Isle Associates' land, has been submitted to this Council, and the
Council is fully informed and aware of the terms and conditions thereof; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the City of Alameda that said Settlement
Agreement be entered into;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that said Council
hereby approves the Settlement Agreement among the City of Oakland, City of Alameda, Harbor Bay
Isle Associates, Utah International, Inc., Doric Development, Inc. and Reclamation District
No, 2105, said Agreement to be substantially in the form of that heretofore placed in the Office
of the City Clerk and marked "Filed, July 21, 1976,"
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute
said settlement agremement for and on behalf of the City of Alameda and the City Clerk is
hereby directed to attest to same.

21st day of July, 1976, by the following vote, to wtt,
