AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT WITH ALAMEDA UNIFIED SCHOOL
DISTRICT RELATING TO CONSTRUCTION AND MAINTENANCE OF LINCOLN SCHOOL
ACCESS ROADWAY, STORM DRAIN AND SEWER SYSTEM AND CERTIFYING REVIEW
OF ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT FOR SAID PROJECT
WHEREAS, a proposed agreement with the Alameda Unified School District relating to the
construction and maintenance of the Lincoln School access roadway, storm drain and sewer system
has been submitted to this Council, and the Council is fully informed and aware of the terms and
conditions thereof; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Education of the Alameda Unified School District has accepted the
agreement and it is the best interests of the City of Alameda that said agreement be entered into;
and
WHEREAS, the Alameda Unified School District is the lead agency and has prepared the
environmental documents respecting the above mentioned project pursuant to the requirements of
the California Environmental Quality Act;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA, that the Mayor is
hereby authorized and directed to execute, for and on behalf of the City of Alameda, that certain
agreement referred to above by and between the Alameda Unified School District and the City of
Alameda relating to the construction and maintenance of the Lincoln School access roadway, storm
drain and sewer system. The City Clerk is hereby directed to attest to same.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said Council hereby CERTIFIES that it has reviewed and
considered the information contained in the Alameda Unified School District Environmental Impact
Report.
