REJECTING CLAIM OF CARL JOSEPH KELLEY AGAINST CITY
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the claim against the City
heretofore on September 15, 1976, filed by Carl Joseph Kelley, whose address is 2728 Barlow
Drive, Castro Valley, California, be rejected in its entirety on the grounds said claim is
not a proper charge against the City; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that notice of said rejection be in the following words
and that a certified copy of this resolution be mailed to said claimant's attorney, Joseph A.
Desmond, Attorney at Law, 1165 California Street, Suite 818, San Francisco, California 94104:
"NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the claim which you
presented to the City of Alameda on September 15,
1976, was rejected on October 26, 1976,
WARNING
Subject to certain exceptions, you have only six
months from the date this notice was personally
delivered or deposited in the mail to file a court
action on this daim. See Government Code Section
945.6.
You may seek the advice of an attorney of your choice
in connection with this matter. If you desire to
consult an attorney, you should do so immediately,"

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in an adjourned regular meeting
assembled on the 26th day of October, 1976, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Deckam, Diament, Hurwitz, Sherratt and President Corica, (5).
NDES: None.
ABSENT: None.
