APPROVING CLAIM FOR RELOCATION PAYMENT AND AUTHORIZING PAYMENT
(CHRIS WARD - 1539 OAK STREET)
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 8477, adopted February 3, 1976, the Alameda City Council
adopted a policy for relocation advisory assistance and relocation payments pursuant to the
requirements of Government Code Section 7260, et seq., and
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 8479, adopted February 3, 1976, the Alameda City Council
found and determined that the public interest and necessity required the acquisition of certain
real property commonly known as 1539 Oak Street, Alameda; and
WHEREAS, Chris Ward, who operates a business known as Ward's Auto & Body Shop, Inc.
at the above address, has filed a business relocation claim for payment on income basis in lieu
of $10,000.00 under the provisions of Government Code Section 7262 (a); and
WHEREAS, this Council does and it hereby finds and determines that said claimant is
entitled to payment of said sum;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the
Auditor-Assessor is hereby authorized and directed toAraW a check on the Capital Outlay Fund,
Capital Improvement Project II-1.a, in the amount of Ten Thousand and 00/100 Dollars ($10,000.00)
said check to be made payable to Chris Ward, and transmitted to the Director ofPUblic Works
and Relocation Officer, for delivery to said claimant.
