CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 8614
ADOPTING PLANS SPECIFICATIONS AND SPECIAL PROVISIONS FOR
CONSTRUCTION OF A PARKING LOT AT 2216 LINCOLN AVENUE, CALLING
FOR BIDS AND DIRECTING CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE SAME
WHEREAS, there have been prepared by the City Engineer Specifications, Special Provisions
and Plans for the construction of a parking lot at 221E Lincoln Avenue, No. PW 10-76-12, and filed
in the office of the City Clerk on October 26, 1976;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA-that the said
Specifications, Special Provisions and Plans, be, and the same are hereby approved and adopted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the performance and completion of the work specified in
said Specifications and Provisions be and the same is hereby authorized.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive sealed bids
up to the hour of 11:00 o'clock am.m on FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 5, 1976, for furnishing to the City of
all labor, materials, machinery, tools and equipment necessary for the work hereinabove referred
to, in accordance with said Specifications and Provisions. Bids must be presented to the City
Clerk, in the City Hall, Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on the
outside, "Proposal for Construction of the Parking Lot at 2216 Lincoln Avenue," or similar
designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the Charter of
the City of Alameda, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best bid. The riyht
is reserved to reject any or all bids.
Said Specifications and Provisions may be had by any prospective bidder on application
to the City Engineer, at his office in the City Hall, Alameda, California.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-Star, a notice
calling for sealed bids, in accordance with the provisions of this resolution and of said
Specifications and Provisions.

introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in an adjourned regular meting assembled
on the 26th day of October, 1976, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Beckam, Diament, Hurwitz, Sherratt and President Corica, (5).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
