REJECTING CLAIM OF EBONI BERNARD, A MINOR, AND ALVIN BERNARD,
HER NATURAL PARENT, AGAINST CITY
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the claim against
the City heretofore on December 3, 1976, filed by Eboni Bernard, a minor, and Alvin Bernard,
her natural parent, whose address is 2114. Vernalis Circle, No. 3, Alameda, California, be
rejected in its entirety on the grounds said claim is not a proper charge against the City; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that notice of said rejection be in the following words and that
a certified copy of this resolution be mailed to said claimants' attorney, James A. Stonebouse,
Esq., Whitrey, Hanson & Stonehouse, Bank of America Building, Suite 15, 2411 Santa Clara Avenue,
Alameda, California 94501:
'NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the claim which you presented to the City
of Alameda on December 3, 1976, was rejected on January 4, 1977,
WARNING
Subject to certain exceptions, you have only six months from the date
this notice was personnally delivered or deposited in the mail to file
a court action on this claim, See Government Code Sectim 945.6.
You may seek the advice of an attorney of your choice in connection
with this matter. If you desire to consult an attorney, you should do
so immediately."

introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regula-meeting assembled on the
