REQUESTING CANCELLATION OF COUNTY TAXES ON REAL PROPERTY ACQUIRED
BY THE CITY OF ALAMEDA FOR MUNICIPAL PURPOSES (CATALINA AVENUE)
WHEREAS, the real property situated in the City of Alameda, County of Alameda, State of
California, formerly described as Account Nos. 74-1040-4-1, 74-1032-22-1, 74-1032-23-1 and
74-1032-24-1, Deed No. 75-107457, and more specifically described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto
and made a part hereof, has been assessed heretofore for County purposes and taxed levied thereon ar
uncollected and unpaid; and
WHEREAS, the City of Alameda, at its regular meeting of Feburary 1, 1972, by its Minute
Order #9, accepted improvements in said real property and said property since that time has been
used for public purposes; and
WHEREAS, said real property was, by Grant Deed recorded in the office of the County
Recorder of Alambed County on July 30, 1975, Deed #75-107457 on Reed 4050, Image 133 through 138,
acquired and row is owned by the City of Alameda, and has been and now is being used for public
purposes and because of such public ownership is not subject to sale for delinquent taxes; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNTY OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the Board of
Supervisors of the County of Alameda be, and it is hereby requested to make its order, and to
take such further proceedings as may be necessary, to cause all uncollected taxes, assessments,
penalties or costs charped or levied for County purposes upon the aforesaid parcels of real
property, to be cancelled; and that a record of such cancellation be made by the officer or
officers having custody of the record thereof, in accordance with the provisions of Section 4986
of the Revenue and Taxation Code of the State of California,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk forward two (2) certified copy of this Resolution
forthwith to the Board of Supervisors of the County of Alameda.

introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the
4th day of January, 1977, by the following vote, to wit:
