APPROTTNG'COPLICT OF INTEREST CODE FOR CITY ATTORNEY'S OFF
CE
WHEREAS, § 87300 of the Government Code, commonly known as Political Reform Act of
1974, requires that a Conflict of Interest Code shall be formulated for agencies at the most
decentralized level possible; and
WHEREAS, for purposes of application of this act, the City Attorney's Office is such
an agency; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is the designated Code reviewing body, repponsible for
approving a Conflict of Interest Code for such local agencies.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Alameda, after reviewing
said Code (Attachment A), hereby approves the proposed code as submitted.

introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the
4th day of January, 1977, by the following vote, to wit:
