AUTHORIZING MODIFICATION OF LEASE BETWEEN CITY AND TODD SHIPYARDS
CORPORATION RESPECTING CERTAIN CITY OWNED TIDE AND SUBMERGED LANDS
WHEREAS, a proposed modification of a lease originally executed by the City and the
Assignor of the Lessee on September 1, 1946 and amended on October 4, 1968 and August 20, 1975,
has been submitted to this Council; and
WHEREAS, said modification related to the assignability and all incidents thereto hy
Todd Shipyard Corporation of its right, title and interest in the leasehold; and
WHEREAS, said modification does not change the present substantive provisions of
the lease; and
WHEREAS, the Council is fully informed and aware of said terms and conditions of
modification of the lease be entered into;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALALMEDA that the Mayor
of the City of Alameda is hereby authorized and directed to execute, for and on behalf of the
City of Alameda, that certain agreement referred to above by and between Todd Shipyard Corporation
and the City of Alameda, respecting certain tide and submerged lands. The City Clerk is hereby
directed to attest to same.

introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the
1st day of February, 1977, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Beckam, Diament, Hurwitz, Sherratt and President Corica, (5).
NOES: None,
ABSENT: None.
