ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS, SPECIAL PROVISIONS AND PLANS FOR THE
CONSTRUCTION OF ARCH CULVERTS AT THE INTERSECTION OF PACIFIC
AVENUE AND WOOD STREET, CALLING FOR BIDS AND DIRECTING CITY CLERK
TO ADVERTISE SAME
WHEREAS, there have been prepared Specifications, Special Provisions and Plans for
the construction of arch culverts at the intersection of Pacific Avenue and Wood Street, No,
PW 2-77-1, and filed in the office of the City Clerk on February 1, 1977;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the said
Specifications. Special Provisions and Plans, be, and the same are hereby approved and adopted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the performance and completion of the work specified in
said Specifications and Provisions be and the same is hereby authorized.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive sealed
bids up to the hour of 11:00 o'clock a.m. on FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 18, 1977, for furnishing to the City
of all labor, materials, machinery, tools and equipment necessary for the work hereinabove
referred to, in accordance with said Specifications and Provisions. Bids must he presented to the
City Clerk, in the City Hall, Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on the
outtide, "Prpoposal for the Construction of Arch Culverts at the Intersection of Pacific Avenue
and Wood Street," or similar designation,
Said Specifications and Provisions may be had by any prospective bidder on application
to the City Engineer, at his office in the City Hall, Alameda, California.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-Star, a notice
calling for sealed bids, in accordance with the provisions of this resolution and of said
Specifications and Provisions.

introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the
1st day of February, 1977, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Beckam, Diament, Hurwitz, Sherratt and President Corica, (5).

ABSENT: None.
