Resolution 08669CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 8669
COMMENDING TOM FOGARTY, TOM CAVAGNARO AND STEVE POLA, STREET
DEPARTMENT EMPLOYEES
WHEREAS, due to the altertness and initiative displayed by TOM FOGARTY, TOM CAVAGNARO
and STEVE POLA, while performing their duties as employees of the City of Alameda Street
Department, the responsibles for several purse snatchings were identified, apprehended and
the victims' property recovered; and
WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that their exemplary performance outside the
realm of their normal duties be given public recognition.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Alameda does hereby
commend Tom Fogarty, Tom Cavagnaro and Steve Pola for their actions.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution be Presented to each employee
as an expression of appreciation of their meritorious service.
