APPROVING CHANGE ORDER RESPECTING CONSTRUCTION OF POLICE STATION,
ARCHITECT"S PROJECT NO. 75-17 DATED FEBRUARY 17, 1977
WHEREAS, the City of Alameda has contacted with W. E, Lyons Construction Company to
construct the Alameda Police Administration Building, Public Works Project No, 10-76-12,
Architect's Project No. 75-17, Dated Fehruary 17, 1977; and
WHEREAS, the Contractor wishes to substitute, by change order, the subcontractor for
structural steel and miscellaneous metals fro Yuba City Steel Products to Ashby Metal Products,
Inc. at no changdn price; and
WHEREAS, Section 4107 of the Government Code requires certain procedural steps to be
taken before approval for substitution is given and
WHEREAS, EVIDENCE OF SATISFACTION OF THIS REQUIREMENT has been demonstrated,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Alameda hereby agaves
the change order ached as Exhibit A and directs the City Manager to sign said change order
on behalf of the City.

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and
regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled
on the 1st day of March, 1977, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Beckam, Diament, Hurwitz, Sherratt and President Corica, (5).
