ADOPTING BY REFERENCE GOVERNMENT CODE §15000-15192 OF THE STATE
OF CALIFORNIA, "STATE EIR GUIDELINES", WITH AMENDMENTS,
ADOPTIONS AND DELETIONS THERETO, PROVIDING PRINCIPLES, OBJECTIVES,
CRITERIA AND DEFINITIONS FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE CALIFORNIA
ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY ALT OF 1970
WHEREAS, pursuant to the State Environmental Quality Act of 1970, the Secretary
of the State Resources Agency has promulgated guidelines required by said Act (i15000-15192 of
the Government Code of the State of California); and
WHEREAS, 915050 of said code provides that all public agencies shall adopt objectives,
criteria and procedures for the evaluation of projects (as defined in said Act) and the preparation
of environmental impact reports pursuant thereto, which objectives, criteria and procedures shall
be consistent with said Act.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Alameda that the City of
Alameda adopts by reference the 'State EIR Guidelines", with amendments, additions and deletions
thereto, all as set forth in the document attached hereto, denominated Exhibit "A', which
exhibit is hereby made a part of this resolution as if fully set forth herein.

introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the
5th day of April, 1977, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Beckam, Diament, Hurwitz, Sherratt and President Corica, (5).
NOES: None.
