APPROVING AND PROVIDING FOR THE EXECUTION OF A PROJECT AGREEMENT
FOR LAND AND WATER CONSERVATION FUND PROJECT NO. 06-00538, WASHINGTON
PARK DEVELOPMENT, PHASE III, BY AND BETWEEN THE CITY OF ALAMEDA
AND THE STATF OF CALIFORNIA, RESOURCES AGENCY, DEPARTMENT OF
PARKS AND RECREATION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that
1. The Project Agreement attached hereto as Exhibit A between the City of Alameda
and the State of California, the terms of which provision is made for federal reimbursement
of an amount not to exceed $118,904 under provisions of the Land and Water Conservation Fund
Act of 1965 for the development of Project No. 06-00538, Washington Park Development, Phase
III, as described:
Development of seven acres, more or less, at the existing Washington
Park, the area being located southwesterly of the park and bordering
Eighth Street. Developments to include installation of lighting,
bleachers, and windscreens at existing tennis courts; landscaping; turf;
irrigation; drainage; paved parking areas with curbs, car stops, and
white lanes, repair existing pavement, asphalt walks witheader
boards; restroom/maintenance building; and lighting of parking area and
softball field,
is hereby approved in all respects.
2. The Director of Recreation and Parks of the City cf Alameda is hereby authorized
and directed to execute five copies of said Project Agreement. The City Clerk is hereby
directed to attest to same.
3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this resolution by the City of
Alameda and it shall thereupon take effect.

introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on
the 19th day of April, 1977, by the following vote, to wit:
