CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 8740
AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A CONTRACT FOR SERVICES OF A
CERTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTANT FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1977-1978
WHEREAS, Section 3-7(c) of the Charter of the City cf Alameda requires the
designation of a certified public accountant to investigate and audit the accounts of
the City; and
WHEREAS, a proposed ccntract for the fiscal year 1977-1978 with George A.
Hackleman, Certified Public Accountant, has been submitted to the Council and the Council
is fully informed and aware of the terms and conditions thereof, said contract being
filed with the City Clerk and marked "Filed June 21, 1977;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the
Mayor of the City of Alameda is hereby authorized and directed to execute for and on behalf
of the City of Alameda that certain contract referred to above by and between the City
and George A. Hackleman for certified public accounting services for the fiscal year
1977-1978. The City Clerk is hereby directed to attest to same.

1, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and
regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting
assembled on the 21st day of June, 1977, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Beckam, Diament, Sherratt, Tillman and President Corica, (5).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
