CONSENT TO ASSIGNMENT TO JULES DUC CONSTRUCTION
COMPANY OF AGREEMENT BETWEEN CITY OF ALAMEDA AND
pAN-pAciFic DEvELopmENT CO. FOR CONSTRUCTION OF
IMPROVEMENTS IN CONNECTION WITH PARCEL MAP NO. 2073
WEEREAS, on the 5th day of January, 1977, an agreement for
construction and completion of improvements in connection with
Parcel MaP No. 2073 was entered into by and between the City of
Alameda and Pan-Pacific Development Co., a California corporation,
Subdivider; and
WHEREAS, Pan-Pacific Development Co., has requested that
the Council of the City of Alameda consent to the assignment of
said Agreement to Jules Duc Construction Company, a California
corporation, and Jules Duc Construction Company has indicated its
desire to accept such assignment; and
WHEREAS, a form cf Assignment Agreement between the parties
has been prepared and submitted to this Council and is on file
in the office of the CitY Clerk marked, "Filed, June 21, 1977,"
and the Council is aware of and approves the contents thereof;
NOW, TEEREFORE4. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that said City does hereby consent to and approve the
assignment of that certain Agreement dated January 5, 1977 by and
between the City of Alameda and Pan-Pacific Development Co., said
assignment being from Pan-Pacific Development Co. to Jules Duc
Construction Company.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager of the City of
Alameda be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute, for and on
behalf of the City, the Assignment Agreement as set out above.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to attest to same.

AYES: Councilmen Beckam, Diament, Sherratt, Tillman and
