ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS AND PROVISIONS FOR FURNISHING
TO THE CITY OF ALAMEDA PROPOSALS FOR THE TOWING OF
PRIVATE VEHICLES WITHIN THE CITY, CALLING FOR BIDS
AND DIRECTING CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE SAME
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that
the Specifications and Provisions for furnishing to the City of
Alameda Proposals for the towing of private vehicles within the
City for a three year period commencing September 1, 1977 and
ending August 31, 1980, No MSP 7 -77 -2, filed in the office of the
City Clerk on July 19, 1977, be, and the same are hereby approved
and adopted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the City of
Alameda will receive sealed proposals up to the hour of 11:00
o clock a.m. on THURSDAY, AUGUST 4, 1977, for furnishing to the
City of said proposals for towing of private vehicles within the
City. Proposals must be presented to the City Clerk, in the City
Hall, Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked
on the outside, "Proposal for the Towing of Private Vehicles ",
or similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the pro -
visions of the Charter of said City, to the responsible bidder
who submits the lowest and best bid. The right is reserved to
reject any or all bids.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the
Alameda Times -Star, a notice calling for sealed bids, in accordance
with the provisions of this resolution and of said Specifications
and Provisions.
