ORDERING VACATION OF UNUSED PUBLIC SERVICE EASEMENT
(POWER POLE LINE RIGHT-OE-WAY NORTHERLY OF
MECARTNEy ROAD, BAY FARM ISLAND)
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that
the certain easement for a Power Pole line right -or -waY northerly
of Mecartney Road on. Bay Farm Island, granted to the City of
Alameda on April 25, 1929 and recorded in the County Recorder's
Office on May 9, 1929 in Book 2152, O.R., Page 41 (Z/32044), and
described as:
Being a portion of Lot 30, Section 24, Township 2
South Range 4 West, Sale Map No 10, Salt Marsh
and. Tide Lands, Alameda, California, more particularly
described as follows:
COMMENCING at the Northwest corner of Lot 30, in Section
24, Township 2 South, Range 4 West, Mount Diablo
Base and Meridian, as said Lot is delineated and
so designated upon that certain rap entitled
"Sale Map No.10, of Salt Marsh and Tide Lands,
situate in the County of Alameda, State of
California", filed June 9, 1888 in the office
of the County Recorder of Alameda County;
THENCE South, 828.62 feet;
THENCE S. 82° E., 259.50 feet;
THENCE N. 89° E., 200.57 feet to the TRUE POINT OF
BEGINNING;
THENCE N. 05° 40 17" E., 276.69 feet;

is hereby ordered vacated Pursuant to the provisions of ScoLion
50443 of the Government Code of California,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the City of
Alameda hereby finds and determines that (1) the said Public
( service easement herein ordered vacated is unnecessary for present
or prospective Public use, and (2) said easement has not been used
rt. fer the Purpose for which it was acquired fer more than five (5)
consecutive Years Preceding the vacation herein ordered.
1, the under igned, hereby certify that the foregoing, Resolution
was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City
of Alameda . in regular meeting assembled on the 16th day of August, 1977,
