FIXING THE RATE AND LEVYING A TAX ON ALL REAL AND
PERSONAL PROPERTY IN TIIE CITY OF ALAMEDA FOR THE
FISCAL YEAR 1977 -1978 AND APPORTIONING THE SANE
AMONG THE SEVERAL FUNDS OF THE CITY
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that
the rate of City taxes to be levied for the fiscal year beginning
July 1, 1977 and ending June 30, 1978, upon all property assessed
for taxation within the corporate limits of the City of Alameda
on the basis of the valuation thereof as shown by the assessment
rolls in the office of the City Assessor of said City be, and the
same is hereby, fixed as follows:
At the rate of two hundred and fifty -two cents (2520
on each one hundred dollars ($100) of assessed valuation
of said property on the Unsecured Roll; and
At the rate of two hundred and forty -five cents (245)
on each one hundred dollars ($100) of assessed valuation
of said property on the Secured Roll; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that, for the purpose of raising the
necessary revenue for said City for the fiscal year 1977 -1978, a
tax be, and the same is hereby, fixed and levied on each and every
one hundred dollars ($100) of assessed valuation of all taxable
property, real and personal, within the corporate limits of said
City, as follows:
On property on the Unsecured Roll, at the rate of Two
and 52/100 Dollars ($2.52); and
On property on the Secured Roll, at the rate of Two
and 45/100 Dollars ($2.45); and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said tax, and the moneys arising
therefrom when collected, shall be, and the same are hereby,
appropriated to and apportioned among the several funds, special
purposes and bonded indebtedness of the City hereinafter designated,
in the proportion and amounts respectively set forth opposite each
such designated fund, special purpose or indebtedness, as follows:

NOES: None.
ABSENT: Councilman Beckam, (1).
