REQUIRING COUNCIL APPROVAL OF THE WORDING: OF PLAQUES,
SCROLLS OR DEDICATIONS ON PUBLIC FACILITIES
WHEREAS, certain public facilities may be dedicated in
the name of a person or contain information indicating the
persons responsible for their construction; and
is
WHEREAS, the wording of plaques,
a matter of public concern;
scrolls or dedications
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that the wording of any plaque, scroll or dedication
on public buildings, parks or areas within the City of Alameda
be approved by the City Council of the City of Alameda.
