DESIGNATING THE SANCTUARY BUILDING OF THE FIRST
PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH AS AN HISTORICAL MONUMENT
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA
that, upon the recommendation of the Alameda Historical Advisory
Commission, said Council hereby designates the Sanctuary Building
of the First Presbyterian Church as an "Historical Monument."
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the list of Historical
Monuments shall read:
1. Alameda City Hall
2. Alameda Theater
3. Alameda High School
4, St. Joseph's Basilica
5. Sanctuary Building of the First Presbyterian Church
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly
and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in
regular meetina assembled on the 4th day of October, 1977, by the followiny
vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Beckam, Sherratt, Tillman and Vice President Diament, (4).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: President Corica, (1).
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the official
seal of said City this 5th day of October, 1977.
