AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT WITH ALAMEDA FIRST
NATIONAL BANK SETTING FORTH CONDITIONS AND RESTRICTIONS
FOR BRANCH BANK AT ISLAND DRIVE AND MECARTNEY ROAD
WHEREAS, the Alameda First National Bank has entered into
an agreement with HARBOR BAY ISLE ASSOCIATES, a partnership, to
acquire title in certain property for construction of a branch
bank on Bay Farm Island at Island Drive and Mecartney Road; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interests.of the City of
Alameda that an agreement be entered into between it and Alameda
First National Bank setting forth conditions and restrictions.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
&- OF ALAMEDA that the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to

execute, for and on behalf of the City of Alameda, that certain
agreement referred to above by and between Alameda First National
Bank and the City of Alameda setting forth conditions and

restrictions regarding a branch bank to be constructed on Bay
t— Farm Island at Island Drive and Mecartney Road. The City Clerk
< is hereby directed to attest to same.

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly
and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in
regular meeting assembled on the 4th day of October, 1977, by the following
vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Beckam, Sherratt, Tillman and Vice President Diament, (4).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: President Corica, (1).
