Resolution 08814CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 8814 DECLARING INTENTION TO VACATE ELECTRICAL POWER EASEMENT, FIXING DATE FOR HEARING THEREON, AND ORDERING PUBLICATION AND POSTING OF NOTICE THEREOF (WITHIN TRACT 1866 - PORTION OF SOUTH SHORE CENTER) BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that, pursuant to the Public Service Easements Vacation Law (Secs. 50430 and following, Government Code of California), and upon the submission to and action by the Planning Board on said matter, the public interest requires, and said Council hereby declares its intention to order, the vacation of that certain electrical power easement in the City of Alameda, being a ten-foot wide strip in Tract 1866 and more particularly described as follows: In Portion of South Shore Center, Alameda, California. Parcel 4 of the easement as granted by South Shore Center, Inc., to the City of Alameda filed October 21, 1960, in Reel 191, Image 407, Official Records of the County of Alameda, California, being a portion of Block 13 of that certain map entitled, "TRACT 1866, SOUTH SHORE UNIT NO 1, ALAMEDA, CALIFORNIA", filed October 30, 1957, in Book 38 of Maps, pages 50 thru 54, inclusive, County of Alameda records. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the time and place hereby fixed for hearing all persons interested in the proposed vaca- tion is: Tuesday, November 15, 1977 7:30 o'clock p.m., Council Chamber, City Hall, Alameda, California. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish a copy of this resolution twice, once in each of two successive weeks prior to said hearing, in the official newspaper of the City of Alameda, and to cause to be posted notices of said proposed easement vacation in the manner prescribed by Section 50441 of said Code. W\$ I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 18th day of October, 1977, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: Councilmen Beckam, Diament, Sherratt, Tillman and President Corica, (5).
