Resolution 08819CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 8819 APPROVING ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN TERRITORY WHEREAS, the fee title to territory hereinafter specifically described, has been granted to the City of Alameda; and WHEREAS, said territory is presently situated in the City of Oakland; and WHEREAS, City of Oakland has consented to the detachment of said territory and annexation thereof to the City of Alameda; and WHEREAS, the City of Oakland by and through its Board of Port Commissioners has consented, as owner, to the detachment of said territory from the City of Oakland and the annexation thereof to the City of Alameda; and WHEREAS, the City of Alameda has consented to the annexation of said territory so detached; and WHEREAS, the Local Agency Formation Commission of Alameda County has approved said detachment annexation; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Alameda by and thxough its Council hereby approves the annexation of the property commonly known as City Line Road, particularly described as follows: All that portion of Lots 9, 24, and 25 of Section 20, and Lot 8 of Section 29 of Township 2 South, Range 3 West, Mount Diablo Base and Meridian, as said lots, sections, township, and range are delineated and so designated on that certain map entitled "Map No. 2 of Salt Marsh and Tide Lands Situate in the County of Alameda, State of California, 1871," and delineated in the field notes thereof, all on file in the Office of the Department of Finance, Division of State Lands, State of Calif- ornia and being more particularly described as follows: BEGINNING at a point on the boundary line common to the Cities of Oakland and Alameda as said boundary line was establish- ed by Resolution No. 35846 of the Oakland City Council, adopted December 8, 1909, said boundary line being also the section line common to the aforesaid Section 20, and Section 19 of T2S, R3W, said point being the point designated as Mon.#2 on that certain map entitled, "Coordinate Map of the Tide Lands and Control Points in the Vicinity of Bay Farm Island, Alameda County," filed on April 19, 1956, in Map Book 40, at page 30, Records of Alameda County, said monument having the coordinates of y = 454,625.47 feet, and x = 1,501,003.66 feet, based on the California Coordinate System, Zone III, as are all bearings, distances, and coordinates in this description, said point also being the section corner common to Sections 19, 20, 29, and 30 of said T2S, R3W, MDB&M thence along said common boundary line and section line and the western line of Lots 25, 24, and 9 of said Section 20, North 00°58'09" East, 3,368.014 feet, more or less, to a point on the southern right of way line of Doolittle Drive, 160 feet in width, as said line is described in the description of Parcel Two in Port Ordinance #472, adopted May 21, 1945, the original copy of which Ordinance is kept and indexed in the Port Ordinance Book which is under the control and custody of the Secretary to the Board of Port Commissioners of the City of Oakland; thence continuing along said common boundary line and said section line and western line of Lot 9, North 00 °58'09" East, 160.192 feet, more or less, to the northern right of way line of Doolittle Drive; thence along last said right of way line North 88 °04'59" East, 75.09 feet, more or less, to a point on a line which is parallel with and 75 feet easterly of the aforesaid western line of Lot 9 of Section 20; thence along said parallel line South 00 °58'09" West, 160.192 feet, more or less, to the aforesaid southern right of way line of Doolittle Drive; thence continuing along said parallel line South 00 °58'09" West, 3,371.879 feet, more or less, to the section line common to the aforesaid Sections 20 and 29; thence along a line parallel with and 75 feet easterly of the western line of said Section 29, South 01 °05'45" West, a distance of 529.508 feet; thence along the arc of a curve concave to the west with a radius of 1,182.507 feet, through a central angle of 20 °30'54 ", an arc distance of 423.40 feet, more or less, to a point on the section line common to the aforesaid Sections 29 and 30, from which point the radial bears North 68 °23'21" West, said section line being also the aforesaid boundary line common to the Cities of Oakland and Alameda (Resolution No. 35846); thence along last said section line and boundary line, North 01 °05'45" East, 943.841 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. Containing 7.46798 acres, more or less. This description conforms to the requirements of the Local Agency Formation Commission of Alameda County. I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 1st day of November, 1977, by the following vote, to wit; AYES: Councilmen Beckam, Diament, Sherratt, Tillman and President Corica, (5).
