REJECTING CLAIM OF LARRY CLEMENT AGAINST CITY
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that
the claim against the City heretofore on December 5, 1977, filed
by Larry Clement, acting by and through his general guardian Joan
Clement, whose address is 1422 Willow Street, #B, Alameda,
California, be rejected in its entirety on the grounds said claim
is not a proper charge against the City; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that notice of said rejection be
in the following words and that a certified copy of this resolu-
tion be mailed to said claimant's attorney, Michael N. Padway,
c/o William H. Bachrach, A Professional Corporation, 125-12th
Street, Suite 105, Oakland, California 94607:
"NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the claim which you
presented to the City of Alameda on December 5,
1977, was rejected on December 20, 1977.
WARNING
Subject to certain exceptions, you have only six
months from the date this notice was personally
delivered or deposited in the mail to file a court
action on this claim. See Government Code Section
945.6.
You may seek the advice of an attorney of your
choice in connection with this matter. If you
desire to consult an attorney, you should do so
immediately."
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 20th day of December,
1977, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen 8eCkam, Diament, 3h2rra1t, Tillman and
President Corica, (5).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Non2,
