AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR CONSTRUCTION
AND COMPLETION OF IMPROVEMENTS IN CONNECTION WITH
PARCEL MAP NO. 2332 AND APPROVING FAITHFUL PERFORMANCE
BOND AS TO SUFFICIENCY (NORTHWEST CORNER OF MARINER
SQUARE DRIVE AND MARINER SQUARE LOOP - LONG PROPERTIES,
SUBDIVIDER)
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 11-319.1 of the Alameda
Municipal Code, there has been presented to this Council a Parcel
Map, designated Parcel Map No. 2332, and heretofore conditionally
approved by the Planning Board, being a division of property at
the northwest corner of Mariner Square Drive and Mariner Square
Loop, in the City of Alameda by Long Properties, a joint venture,
consisting of John Berry, an individual, Kaiser, Saxton and Stiles,
Inc., a California corporation and Ron Nunn, an individual; and
WHEREAS, said approval by the Planning Board is conditioned
upon the execution by subdivider of an agreement to construct and
complete certain public improvements on said property; and
WHEREAS, said subdivider has entered into such an agreement
and has posted its bond guaranteeing full and faithful performance
of said work, all in accordance with said section; and
WHEREAS, it will be to the benefit of the City to have said
work performed in accordance therewith;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that the agreement for the construction and completion
of the improvements in the division of property at the northwest
) corner of Mariner Square Drive and Mariner Square Loop, designated
as Parcel Map 2332, by Long Properties, a joint venture, be, and

and directed to execute, and the City Clerk to attest, said agree-
)) 1)- ment on behalf of the City; and.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the bond in the sum of $133,203,
guaranteeing full and faithful performance of said agreement, is
hereby approved as sufficient in amount.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 7th day of March,
1978, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Beckam, Diament, Sherratt, Tillman
and President Corica, (5).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
