Resolution 088730 0 c. 0. 4-, CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 8E73 ACCEPTING PROPOSAL FOR ENGINEERING DESIGN OF CITY LINE ROAD SUBMITTED BY CONSULTANT FIRM OF MURRAY-McCORMICK, INC. AND AUTHORIZING CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH SAID FIRM WHEREAS, the City of Alameda received a $1.4 million grant from the Economic Development Agency (EDA) for a three phase project to construct City Line Road; and WHEREAS, Murray-McCormick, Inc. has submitted a proposal for the third phase of said project, the Engineering Design of said City Line Road; and WHEREAS, said proposal has been reviewed and is acceptable to this Council; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the proposal of MurraY-McCormick, Inc., dated January 26, 1978, and on file in the office of the City Clerk, for the Engineering Design of City Line Road in the City of Alameda, is hereby accepted;" and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED.that the City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into an agreement with Murray-McCormick, Inc. for its services, and the City Clerk is hereby directed to attest to said agreement; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the amount of said agreement shall not exceed $36,000 and is to be paid from funds allocated to the City by the Economic Development Administration, Project 07-51-26360. I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 7th day of March, 1978, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: Councilmen Beckam, Diament, Sherratt, Tillman and President Corica, (5).
