AUTHORIZING FOURTH OF JULY PARADE AND ROUTE THEREFOR
IN THE CITY OF ALAMEDA
WHEREAS, the Mayor's Fourth of July Parade Committee
has decided on a route for a proposed Fourth of July Parade;
and
WHEREAS, the route for such parade is attached hereto;
and
WHEREAS, a portion of the proposed route is located on
a state highway route,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ALAMEDA that the City Council authorizes a Fourth of
July parade on the attached route.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 18th day of April,
1978, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: 'Councilmen Reckam, Diament, Sherratt, and Tillman, (4).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: President Corica, (1).
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the
