CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 8886
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO SUBMIT AMENDMENTS TO
THE HCDA APPLICATION FOR SECOND, THIRD AND FOURTH YEAR
WHEREAS, the City of Alameda and the Housing Authority of
the City of Alameda have entered into a Cooperation Agreement,
dated April 11, 1978 setting out certain recitals; and
WHEREAS, by said Agreement the City has agreed to apply
for an aid grant to Neighborhood Organizations in the sum of
$200,000 for the revitalization of the neighborhood surrounding
the Makassar Straits Project, or to apply for said funding through
N. new and amended HCDA applications and provide said funds, if
approved to Authority; and

WHEREAS, City has held public hearings to reallocate
second and third year unobligated HCDA funding as well as to amend
the fourth year HCDA application,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
— OF ALAMEDA that pursuant to the Cooperation Agreement and the

public hearings abovementioned, the City Manager is hereby author-
ized to file amended applications for HCDA funding.

T, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 18th day of April,
1978, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: 'COUDCilm2n Beckam, Diament, Sherratt, and Tillman, (4).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: President Corica, (1).
