CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 8nfiR
ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS FOR FURNISHING TO THE CITY OF
ALAMEDA PROPOSALS FROM QUALIFIED PEST CONTROL
CONTRACTORS FOR INSPECTION REPORTS, CALLING FOR BIDS
AND DIRECTING CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE SAME
RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that
the Specifications and Provisions for furnishing to the City
of Alameda proposals from qualified pest control contractors
for inspection reports as ordered by the Housing and
Rehabilsitation Office of the City of Alameda, No. M,S.P.
4-78-1, filed in the office of the City Clerk on April 18,
1978, be and the same are hereby approved and adopted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the City
of Alameda will receive sealed bids up to the hour of 11:00
o'clock a.m. on Thursday, May 4, 1978, for furnishing to the
City of said proposals for inspection reports in accordance
with said Specifications and Provisions. Bids must be
presented to the City Clerk, in the City Hall, Alameda, Calif-
ornia, under sealed cover and plainly marked on the outside,
"Proposal for Pest Control Inspection Reports," or similar
designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the
provisions of the Charter of said City, to the responsible
bidder who submits the lowest and best bid. The right is
.41 reserved to reject any or all bids.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the
Alameda Times-Star, a notice calling for sealed bids, in

accordance with the provisions of this Resolution and of said
Specifications and Provisions.

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 18th day of April,
1978, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: 'Councilmen Beckam, Diament, Sherra t, and Tillman, (4).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: President Corica, (1).
