Resolution 08900CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 8.900 ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS, SPECIAL PROVISIONS AND PLANS FOR ADDITIONS AND ALTERATIONS TO THE RECREATION BUILDING AT McKINLEY PARK, CALLING FOR BIDS AND DIRECTING CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE SAME WHEREAS, Specifications, Special Provisions and Plans have been prepared for additions and alterations to the Recreation Building at McKinley Park, P.W. 5-78-3, and filed in the office of the City Clerk on May 2, 1978; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that said Specifications, Special Provisions and Plans be, and the same are hereby, approved and adopted. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the performance and comple- tion of the work specified in said Specifications and Provisions be and the same is hereby authorized. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive sealed bids up to the hour of 11:00 o'clock a.m. on THURSDAY, MAY 25, 1978, for furnishing to the City of all labor, materials, machinery, tools and equipment necessary for the work hereinabove referred to, in accordance with said Specifications, Special Provisions and Plans. Bids must be presented to the City Clerk, in the City Hall, Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on the outside, "Proposal for Additions and Alterations to the Recreation Building at McKinley Park," or similar designation. Contract, if awarded, will be awarded to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best bid. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids. Said Specifications and Provisions may be had by any prospective bidder on application to the City Engineer at his office in the City Hall, Alameda, California. The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-Star, a notice calling for sealed bids, in accordance with the provisions of this resolution and of said Specifications, :n ‘ Special Provisions and Plans. „ t, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 2nd day of May, 1978, by the following vote, to wit: AYES:' Councilmen Beckam, Diament, Sherratt, Tillman, and President Corica, (5).
