ACCEPTING RESIGNATION OF TREASURER AND APPOINTING
FLORENCE B. HYDE TREASURER AND EX-OFFICIO TAX
COLLECTOR OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA
WHEREAS, the Treasurer and ex-officio Tax Collector of the
City has submitted her resignation, effective May 31, 1978, from
that office; and
WHEREAS, a vacancy will exist in the office of Treasurer and
ex-officio Tax Collector;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that the said resignation of the City Treasurer and
ex-officio Tax Collector, is hereby accepted as of the close of
the business day on May 31, 1978; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that pursuant to Section 2-7 of the
City Charter, FLORENCE B. HYDE be and hereby is appointed to the
office of Treasurer and ex-officio Tax Collector of the City of
Alameda, for the term prescribed by Section 2-8 of said Charter,
said term to commence June 1, 1978.
I. the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 16th day of May,
1978,'by the following Vote, to wit;
AYES; Councilmen Diament, Sherratt, Tillman, and President Corica, (4).
NOES; None,
ABSENT; Councilman Beck.am, (1),
