AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF CONSTRUCTION AND OPERATION
AGREEMENT WITH CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF NAVIGATION
AND OCEAN DEVELOPMENT FOR SMALL CRAFT LAUNCHING
FACILITY
WHEREAS, a proposed construction and operation agreement
with the California Department of Navigation and Ocean Development
setting forth terms and conditions for a construction grant and
the operation of a small craft launching facility in the City of
Alameda has been submitted to this Council and the Council is
fully informed and aware of the terms and conditions thereof; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the City of Ala meda
that said agreement be entered into
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to
execute, for and on behalf of the City of Alameda, that certain
agreement referred to above by and between the California Depart-
' ment of Navigation and Ocean Development and the City of Alameda,
for a construction grant and the operation of a small craft
0 launching facility in the City of Alameda. The City Clerk is

hereby directed to attest to same,

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the
City of Alameda' in regular meeting assembled on the 6th day of June,
1978, by the following vote, to Wit:
AYES: Councilmen 8ecka0, DiDment, Sherratt, Tillman, and
President Corica, (5).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
