AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT WITH STATE OF
CALIFORNIA RELATING TO DEVELOPMENT OF AN ENERGY
ELEMENT OF THE GENERAL PLAN
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that
the Mayor and City Clerk be, and each hereby is, authorized to
execute and to attest to, respectively, on behalf of the City,
an Agreement with the State of California, acting by and through
its State Energy Resources Conservation and Development Commis-
sion, providing for the development by the City of an Energy
Element of the General Plan of the City of Alameda and proposed
implementing measures, as more fully set out in the Preliminary
Agreement heretofore placed in the office of the City Clerk and
marked "Filed, June 6, 1978," the final agreement to be filed
when received from the State of California and after approval by
, the City Attorney.

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the
City of Alameda' in regular meeting assembled on the 6th day of June,
1978, by the following vote, to Wit:
AYES: Councilmen Beckam, Diament, Sherratt, Tillman, and
President Corica, (5).
NOES: None.
